Stralis Energy was engaged by Bennetts Construction to undertake the upgrade and install of network infrustructure associated with the new high school development at Ballina NSW.
2 major high schools in Ballina were merged with the construction of a new superschool. As a result the size of the development required an upgrade to the 11kV network and the installation of a 1000kVA padmount substation.
Stralis Energy worked closely with all parties involved including Essential Energy, Ballina Shire Council and Bennetts. Due to the proximity to heritage vegetation a careful approach to trenching was needed. Stralis Energy worked with Ballina Shire Council to ensure vacuum excavation did not damage any roots.
The upgrade and install was completed with minimal disruption to the network. Stralis Energy were commended on the quick install and the clean finish.
