Stralis Energy was engaged by Ballina Shire Council to undertake the upgrade and install of network infrustructure associated with the upgrade of the Ballina Swimming Pool and Alstonville Swimming Pool.
Due to the scale of the upgrade to Ballina Shire Councils swimming pools the network required an upgrade. This involved an 11kV network upgrade with alterations and new 500kVA padmount substations.
Stralis Energy worked closely with Ballina Shire Council to ensure the upgrade was completed with minimal disruptions to the community. Ensuring services nearby such as the Library and the Visitor Information Centre were not impacted was crucial. With clear and open communication Stralis Energy were able to ensure all services remained opened throughout the install.
Stralis Energy was also engaged to install a 67kW solar system on both buildings at the Ballina and Alstonville pools. This consisted of 394 solar panels with state of the art Solaredge inverters. This led to a significant save in energy costs for Ballina Shire Council.
