Stralis Energy were contracted by Gildemeister to install and connect pv modules associated with the Chinchilla Baking Board project. This is one of the first projects from Gildemeister in Australia and has an output of 19.9 MWac.

The farm is located 7 km northwest of Chinchilla in the Western Downs shire of southeast Queensland.

The project consisted of 61,000 solar panels located on 73 ha of land. The ground conditions provided a unique challenge and called for some unique mount designs. Due to Stralis Energy’s experience in solar installation they were able to ensure the project was completed with no delays.

The project injected 90 construction jobs into the local community and provided a much needed boost to the local economy. Stralis Energy were proud to work within this community and ensured local products and services were used when applicable.
