Stralis Energy has been engaged by PCL Constructions to complete the full electrical scope for the Gunnedah Solar Farm in Gunnedah, NSW. Being developed by Canadian Solar, the 150MW farm will generate an annual energy yield of 309GWh, enough to meet the energy needs of over 48,000 homes.
Stralis Energy is responsible for the whole electrical scope including all underground HV cable installation and termination, HV cable testing and commissioning, PCU installation, stringing and plugging, pre commissioning and commissioning.
The Gunnedah Solar Farm is the first solar project for PCL in Australia. PCL were impressed by Stralis Energy’s experience and commitment to the project and have developed a great working relationship on site. Stralis Energy is proud to be working with such an established international construction company.
