Tandy’s Lane Overhead to Underground

Stralis Energy was engaged to undertake the reticulation of overhead high voltage powerlines to underground. The locations panoramic views of Byron Bay were interrupted by unsightly overhead powerlines running through it. Stralis Energy removed the existing poles, dug the new underground trench and installed the underground cable.

Stralis Energy’s large range of specialised plant and machinery made light work of this project. 3 EWP’s were used along with crane borers, excavators, a Franna crane and a posi track. Having the right equipment meant the job was completed safely in a short period of time.

The result was better than both Stralis Energy and the client could have expected. The views were dramatically enhanced.
