Q CELLS
Q CELLS develops and produces monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells and solar panels. Q CELLS is well regarded in the solar world and one of the industry leaders in innovation and advanced manufacturing technology. They produce PV systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications and provides EPC services for large scale solar power plants. Q CELLS was established in Germany in 1999 by Reiner Lemoine, Holger Feist, Anton Milner and Paul Grunow. The first working panel was produced in July 2001. In 2012 Q CELLS was acquired by Hanwha Group, a South Korean conglomerate, and became Hanwha Q CELLS. Hanwha was founded in 1952 and is a Fortune 500 company. This means it is one of the largest companies in the world.
Since then Q CELLS has become a major manufacturer in the solar panel industry. Their panels have 25 year product and performance warranties. Q CELLS solar panels are salt mist corrosion resistant and are suitable for coastal installation.
Q CELLS puts a lot of emphasis on their research and development. Currently they have research and development facilities in Germany, South Korea, Malaysia and China. They have an Australian office based in North Sydney.
