Stralis Energy Solar Farm

At Stralis Energy, we specialise in the design, development, and delivery of large-scale solar farm projects — turning open land into powerful clean energy assets.

Stralis Energy delivers turnkey solar-farm electrical solutions — from feasibility and engineered design to HV/LV/DC installation, grid connection and final commissioning. As a CEC-approved solar retailer and an experienced electrical distribution contractor and Complex Contractor, we combine specialist crews, in-house plant, and a purpose-built fleet to safely deliver large-scale, grid-connected solar farms across NSW and Australia. Our integrated offering includes haulage, heavy lifts, cable jointing, testing and handover to operations.

Fleet Capability

Stralis Energy operates a high-spec transport and plant fleet for solar farm construction and ongoing works. Our heavy haulage uses Scania R500 and Kenworth prime movers, jinkers, tri-axle trailers and heavy flat-tops. We also run B-doubles, road trains and heavy floats. These move transformers, inverters and loads up to 60 tonnes. Additionally, truck-mounted cranes (Isuzu FXZ 1500 with Palfinger; Isuzu CXZ Giga), all-terrain cranes, Franna and crane-borers support lifting and access. We provide EWPs (14–30 m) and telehandlers for safe module, inverter and switchgear installation. For civil works, excavators (≈1.6–23 t), vacuum-excavation units and crawler tractors handle earthworks and grading. Our cable-handling fleet includes cable trailers, drum stands, winding trucks and dollies for long pulls and jointing. Finally, we supply site power, BESS and commissioning/test gear (165/75/60 kVA gensets, OMICRON, Megger, Fluke). Moreover, fleet and plant are available wet or dry, with qualified operators and dedicated logistics support.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

Safety and quality drive every Stralis Energy project. Our crews include licensed HV lineworkers, certified HV cable jointers and QA/commissioning electricians. We also employ ticketed plant operators for specialised equipment. Importantly, we hold CEC approval and ASP / Complex Contractor credentials. These credentials support distributor liaison and grid-connection compliance. All plant is maintained to manufacturer schedules and checked daily via Site Smart. In addition, pre-hire checklists and service records ensure equipment is fit for purpose and non-conformances are fixed immediately. We prepare lift studies, rigging plans and critical-lift permits for every heavy lift. Furthermore, vacuum excavation is the preferred method for safely exposing live services. Also, subcontractors are managed under formal Subcontractor Management procedures and SWMS, and every activity is documented and signed off. Finally, commissioning and protection testing uses OMICRON and other industry-leading equipment to ensure a safe handover.
